Working with the kind folks at Anselm Society in Colorado Springs has been a joy. The work that they’re doing to support, encourage, and develop artists, both locally and remotely. They got in touch as their first ever national conference drew near, requesting a highlight film to capture the experience that brought together like-minded creators from all walks and disciplines.

The event lasted just one day, so the film had to capture how much was packed into such a brief amount of time. This was accomplished by switching to slow motion, right as we showed attendees entering the building for the event. And we represented attendees reluctance for the event to end by showing a series of slow, pulling back shots to bring the film to a close. Along the way, interviews guide us through the purpose of the event and b-roll illustrate and make the spoken word come alive.
